Electric Power

Our law office stands out for its specialized handling of issues related to the association responsible for the sale of electricity in the country, in captive and free markets. We have a special role in the area of civil litigation and strategic lawsuits involving regulatory rights and obligations, as well as in lawsuits related to credit recovery, seeking to minimize the effects of default and non-compliance with obligations in a regulated market.

In addition, we work on cases of judicial recovery and bankruptcy, seeking to prevent abuse in the use of the established rule, including to preserve the requirements for participation in the sale and purchase market for electricity. We aim to preserve them and prevent harmful consequences for stakeholders.

Our consumer relations area is specialized in the management of the portfolios of utility concessionaires, having expertise in the segment electric power and respective sector regulations, especially with regard to ANEEL resolutions.

Our activity in judicial portfolios is based on obtaining the best results for our Clients, through the adoption of differentiated strategies for each type of cause of claims.

We operate differently in cases involving irregularities in the consumption of electricity, always seeking to recover credit and raise the awareness of the judiciary branch about the offensive potential of this practice.

We also work on strategic cases involving reimbursement demanded by insurance companies in relation to indemnified electrical damages, accidents in the electrical grid of the concessionaire, collection of amounts related to contracted demand, among others.

Our office specializes in the relationship with Procon and other Consumer Protection Agencies, promoting customer engagement and clarification. We also support our Clients in operational demands, such as in responding to official letters sent by public agencies.
